History: In 1995, a serendipitous meeting between two small family farmers sparked the beginning of The Woodland Farmer's Market. Rural Woodland residents Sonia and Daniel Mora had been looking for a local outlet for the beautiful produce from their farm when they met Ed and Janet Eckhoff who were looking for something similar. Both couples had seen farmers markets in surrounding cities and noticed that Woodland didn't have one of its own.
